Communications ninja, education specialist, animal lover, trustee for Greyhounds in Need, charity volunteer, self confessed geek and lover of words…
As ‘The Comms Bee‘ I work with charities, brands, government departments, and small businesses on everything from education resources, to roadshows, to websites, online games, blog articles, point of sale, social media … you name it and I’ve probably done it.
There has always been a recurring theme … animals. I have loved working on projects for Cats Protection, Dogs Trust, Greyhounds in Need, Paws to Rescue, International Animal Rescue, Reactive Dogs UK and Dorset Dogs CIC to name a few. And now I’d like to use my experience to help pet professionals too – hence Bark About It!
I’m an enabler – in a positive sense, if you have an idea, I’m the person who always says, ‘Let’s make it happen!’ Whatever you need, I’m here to help.
Full disclosure – I’ve just emBARKed 😉 on the IMDT courses to become an accredited dog trainer (if I ever pluck up courage to sit the assessment!).

Rocket and Chip
Rocket is my awesomely odd GWP. He’s been a rollercoaster, but after 6 years I wouldn’t change him for the world. He has taken me on an amazing journey of learning about dog behaviour, owner responsibility and how to advocate for him when he needs me too. We would not be where we are today without our family of pet professionals who have guided, supported and just been there for us through our ups and downs. Anyone that provides pet services plays an integral part in the lives of pets and their families. I’ve had the pleasure of many hours researching and trialling to find the best people to help us… so I know how hard it can be. Chip is my English Springer Spaniel, he’s an absolute gem – especially as he’s had to cope with the whirlwind that is Rocket (and while recovering from cruciate surgery twice!) that’s not to say he hasn’t been a challenge at times too 😉
